This cosy chalet is located on the owners' grounds, within walking distance of Duncannon seaside village, an hours drive from Rosslare Harbour. Duncannon is a wonderful spot with two long sandy beaches, children's playground, basketball court and a couple of pub restaurants. This makes it the ideal base at any time of year. The chalet is perfect for a small family with an open plan design and cosy bedrooms. The area offers much to see and do in the neighbouring towns of Waterford and Wexford. The annual sand sculpting festival takes place here in August.

During July and August, nearby Shielbaggan runs multi-activity programmes for children aged between 10 and 16. These programmes are the ideal way for teenagers to get their first taste of outdoor activities or to improve their skills. Each day there is a different activity and great craic. Or why not enjoy the sand sculpting festival that takes place in August
Duncannon is a pretty seaside village and fishing port built around a historic fort. It has 2 small supermarkets, 3 pubs, 2 award winning restaurants, coffee shop, craft shops, arts centre, playground and tennis courts.
There is a military re-enactment in Historic Fort the first weekend in June. Duncannon Fort, former 2nd Fort of the Realm is a vistior centere and has guided tours in the summer. It houses 'Cockelshells' art centre, coffee shop, internet café and a number of craft shops.
Fishing - Sea 400 yards. Coastal walks 300 yards. Cycling, Traditional Music, Walking, Childrens Playground ½ miles. Water sports, Golf, Horse riding, Sailing 5 miles. |
