Glencolumbkille is a scenic village steeped in culture. There is a folk village with a museum and the Ordeas Gael college teaches the Irish Language and other cultural courses such as the fiddle, bodhran, tin whistle, harp and Irish step dancing classes. Archaeology and marine painting classes are also available.
Hill walking, boat trips, mountain climbing and diving in the local area can all be arranged with the outdoor pursuits centre. Sea and lake fishing available. There is also a golf course. Sandy beaches and a children's playground. Summer festival to suit all ages. Slieve League Cliffs, the highest cliffs in Europe offer breath taking scenery and are a must see for every tourist.
