It is located equally between the harbour village of Cleggan, the working village of Letterfrack and Clifden (6 miles where you can buy fishing permits and rods) A perfect base for exploring the inland National Park and the rugged Atlantic coastline. There is a large open plan living area with single sofa bed, a double/twin bedroom and private patio area with seating. Directly outside your door is a herb garden for your use and the area is a birdwatcher's paradise. Fahy Bay is a 15 minute walk, with a secluded beach 5 minutes further on. Shopping, music, pubs and restaurants are all within easy reach.

There are so many things to do in Connemara!
*Connemara National Park has guided nature walks, hill climbing, talks, audiovisual shows and Connemara ponies. Admission is free.
*A short drive away is Kylemore Abbey which has beautifully restored Victorian Gardens and greenhouses.
*From Cleggan you can take the ferry to Inishboffin Island for the day and explore on foot or bicycle (available to hire on the Island).
*For golfers there is an 18 hole Championship course at Ballyconneely and a pitch and putt course at Recess.
*There is horse riding in Cleggan for both the novice and more experienced rider.
*Take a boat trip around Ballinakill Bay in a glass bottom boat or along the Killary Fjord - or perhaps try a sea angling trip where your catch can be cooked on board.
*For those who enjoy a more leisurely holiday there is the Connemara Garden Trail with a fascinating variety of gardens open to the public.
*Touring by car is a relaxing way to explore the surrounding villages, lakes and stunning mountains, coastlines and many hidden beaches.
*Why not bring a picnic and eat al fresco (flask available on request)
*There is always bustling Clifden to stroll around with traditional pubs, craft shops and a wide choice of restaurants.
