An idyllic setting a mile outside Corrofin village, 10 miles from Ennis and 30 minutes drive from the coast. Corrofin is nestled at the gateway to the Burren National Park and boasts a good chinese restaurant, pubs with traditional music and dancing (ceilidhs), a pottery shop and a playground for the kids. The nearby lake is popular for picnics, trout fishing and makes a decent walk from the house. The cottage is tastefully decorated throughout, set off the road in enclosed landscaped grounds with a farm to its rear.
