The village Graiguenamanagh with its river Barrow flowing through it is also a delight for fishing enthusiasts and for walkers, you can explore the many beautiful lochs along its banks. For the more energetic, Brandon Hill is situated just outside the village and cannot be beaten for its view on a clear day. The Blackstairs Mountains and Mount Leinster are close by. There are excellent pubs and restaurants in the village as well as the neighbouring villages of Borris and Inistoige.
