Safe and sheltered Skull Harbour is home to many waterborne activities. Schull has a busy fishing fleet which ensures great food in the local restaurants. Ferry trips to Cape Clear and Sherkin leave the pier daily throughout the summer. Boats can be hired from Skull Watersports Centre. There are free golf clubs for use at Anchor lodge if you fancy a game nearby. The Mizen Peninsula, Ireland's most south-westerly point, is renowned worldwide for the beauty of its rugged landscape and ancient heritage. A tour of the Mizen Ring gives you the chance to immerse yourself in the various strands that make the Mizen unique, from geology, flora, birds and fauna to the influence of man and his history on the landscape.
