Occupying a fantastic setting high in the Wicklow hills, this Scandinavian Lodge is one of a small complex commanding breathtaking views of the Glenmalure Valley. Adjacent to the Golf Club, Glenmalure Pines is located in the centre of some of the best hill walking in the country, with Lugnaquilla, highest peak in the Wicklow Mountains, close by. Superbly equipped and extremely cosy, this makes a great spot to unwind. Facilities are excellent with fishing, riding and fun parks within the immediate locality.

Glenmalure valley is the largest glacial valley in the British Isles. Avondale House, once the home of Charles Parnell, is just 2km from Rathdrum. Other attractions nearby are Avoca (Ballykissangel country) the fabulous Glendalough and the Kilmacurragh Gardens. Clara Lara Fun Park with over 100 acres of adventure playgrounds is near, with Tarzan swings, boating, canoeing, water slides, crazy golf etc. Premier beaches for the east coast are only 20 minutes away at Wicklow town.
