Doonbeg is a charming small seaside village in West Clare. It got its name from the Irish, Dun Beag which means little fort, as the village grew up around Doonbeg Castle. Doonbeg is a wonderful base for touring County Clare as it is just 10km from Kilkee with its golden sandy beach and Waterworld Leisure Complex, and is also within easy driving distance of other popular tourist towns of Lahinch (30km), Liscannor and Doolin. The property has three bedrooms and can comfortably accommodate up to six people, in a master double bedroom with en suite bathroom, a triple room and a single bedroom with a shared bathroom. There is also a guest toilet downstairs. The open plan kitchen cum dining room is fully equipped with all modern conveniences including electric oven, microwave, Washing Machine / Dryer, dishwasher, fridge/freezer and all the necessary utensils, crockery and cutlery for your stay. The sitting room is very comfortably furnished with a cosy suite of furniture, an open fire, a TV and DVD player. The perfect place to spend a relaxing evening in.
