This beautifully furnished property is located in the heart of the village of Glin, on the Shannon Estuary, 32 miles from Limerick City, 15 miles from Listowel and only 4 miles from the car ferry at Tarbert. Glin is a small, but perfectly formed village with a selection of pubs, take-away and a Castle offering superb evening meals. The literary town of Listowel is only 20 minutes, Ballybunion, 30 minutes away boasts 2 fabulous beaches and excellent golfing. Locally you can enjoy fishing, walking, cycling, boating and relaxing! A great base to tour both Kerry and Clare.

The house is situated in the heart of the village of Glin with shops and pubs within a two minute walk. Locals like to swim from the pier or local stand (pebbly) which is just a five minute walk. Otherwise there is a sandy beach at Beale, Co. Kerry which is approximately 20 mins drive or Ballybunion which is a 30 mins drive, Ballybunion is also a good surfing beach as is Lahinch (90 mins drive including car ferry from Tarbert, which is just a five minutes drive)). Local amenities include (apart from many public houses!) a fish and chip shop, a Chinese take away and the Conway's bar which serves carvery lunches on weekdays. Glin Castle is also within a five minute walk of the property and is open to the public for tours by appointment. The Castle also offers wonderful evening meals of a very high standard by reservation only.
