This single storey property is situated in the quiet village of Abbey, 7 miles from Portumna. Portumna on the River Shannon is noted for its fishing and water sports, forest walk and 18 hole golf course. Indeed there are 13 golf courses within an hour's drive of the property, which was formerly the village shop, now deceptively spacious and very comfortably furnished. Abbey is an excellent touring base with Connemara and the Burren within easy reach. The local pubs host weekly traditional music sessions and the owner welcomes guests with homemade bread and scones!
