Walks can also be enjoyed from the door, and its conservatory and large garden invite relaxation. Lots of spectacular scenery can be enjoyed in the area and on the famous Beara peninsula. Bantry town (with Bantry House and gardens) is only 5 miles whilst Glengarriff (with Garnish island and an 18 hole golf course) is 7 miles away. The Sheep's Head and Mizen Peninsula's over more spectacular scenery.

This lovely apartment is a mile from Ballylickey village is just off the main N71 coastal road 7 miles from Bantry. It is set on a hill with spectacular views of the sea and mountains beyond to Whiddy island. The fishing pier is a short stroll away. The apartment is cosy, very comfortable and tastefully decorated. The owner living next door is on hand to give helpful advice on local amenities, and having young children herself offers an array of children's toys including bikes and a babysitting service if required. This is a great base for touring many of west Cork's wonderful sights, and the local pub serves excellent value for money food.
