Situated on the stunning Wexford coastline with unrivalled beaches, the town of Curracloe is known for its outstanding bird watching, fishing and numerous water sports. The village itself is home to a shop, pub, and restaurant whilst just 15 minutes walk away is the breathtaking Ballinesker Beach, best known as the backdrop for the opening scenes of the film 'Saving Private Ryan'. The town of Wexford is also within easy reach and offers true Irish hospitality with a number of bars, restaurants and retail outlets. Slightly further afield but still within easy touring is the town of Enniscorthy, home to an impressive Norman castle and the Wexford County Museum.
