The region of Ring is situated on a peninsula, overlooking Dungarvan Harbour, just 6 miles from the town itself. Ring has many townlands, and is a rapidly growing area, already home to a restaurant, 5 pubs, and a Post Office. The area has two fishing piers, two beaches and a cove, and from Ring, you can walk the path across the sands of Dungarvan Bay, right to the edge of the town. The harbour town of Dungarvan has a whole host of exciting activities for guests to enjoy, including fishing, boating and wind surfing, while the lovely harbourside cafes, pubs and restaurants will tantalise your taste buds. There are also three golf courses within easy reach of Dungarvan, and sea angling can be arranged from Helvick Head.
