Kiltamagh is a market town 9 miles from Knock Airport, and this cosy cottage only 3 miles from the town is in a fabulous rural setting. Being out in the countryside it is a great get-away-from-it-all destination with walking, fishing and cycling all available locally. Further afield venture to Castlebar, Westport and on into Connemara or to the coast of North Mayo - Downpatrick Head, the Ceide fields and the North Mayo sculpture trail. The hills and boglands of Mayo are rugged and generally unspoilt, with large Lough Conn lake and River Moy offering excellent fishing. The towns of Castlebar and Westport have great shopping and leisure facilities, while a day trip to Galway City is also recommended. |
The small town of Kiltimagh is a true Irish gem located in the eastern part of County Mayo.
