Located between the busy market towns of Skibbereen and Clonakilty and within 6 miles of the nearest Blue Flag beach, Leap has much to offer. Good pubs, eclectic shops and cafes, perfect after days of sightseeing, walking, fishing or gallivanting around the peninsulas. The surrounding area is said to be amongst the most beautiful in Ireland with sandy beaches, coves, fast-flowing rivers, lakes, hills and forests - all of which are easily accessible for walkers, cyclists and drivers. The lively market town of Kinsale is also close by and is known for its excellent local produce. Throughout west Cork visitors can enjoy a variety of festivals whilst along the coast it is possible to spot both whales and dolphins. |
