Liscannor is a small fishing village steeped in naval and marine history, on the end of Liscannor Bay on the rugged west Clare coast. Liscannor is overlooked by the ruins of its former castle which sits above the village, while many old stone houses are still occupied. One of the great natural wonders of Ireland, the Cliffs of Moher are just a 5 minute drive away to the north; these majestic cliffs boast some of the most amazing views in Ireland, and on a clear day you can see the Aran Islands in Galway Bay and the hills of Connemara. Boat excursions to view the cliffs from the sea depart from Liscannor harbour. For great days out, Lahinch is 5 minutes drive away and offers surfing, a swimming pool and aquarium as well as a world renowned links golf course, visit the spa town of Lisdoonvarna, experience traditional Irish music in Doolin, catch the ferry out to the Aran Islands or visit the caves at Doolin or Ballyvaughan on a cloudy day. |

The house stands on an elevated sight overlooking the Atlantic where you can enjoy from the patio the sweeping views of the sea. Inside the open plan living area is tastefully decorated and comfortable throughout. The seaside resort of Lahinch with its sandy surf beach, surf schools, and championship golf course, indoor pool and sea aquarium is 2 miles. There are lovely coastal walks and a pebble beach in Liscannor. Nearby is the famed Cliffs of Moher tourist attraction, traditional music nights in Doolin and the boat to the Aran Islands. |
