Situated between the towns of Kenmare and Waterville, and on the route of the Kerry Way, the village of Sneem provides shops, pubs and a number of cosy tea rooms. With rows of brightly coloured houses, and a lively atmosphere, Sneem is a popular stop for tourists and locals alike, and it is said to be impossible to complete a circuit of the famous Ring of Kerry without passing through Sneem, known as the 'Knot on the Ring of Kerry'. Nearby, the town of Kenmare offers beautiful coastlines to explore, winding streets and interesting boutiques, while the coastal town of Waterville is only a short drive away, and provides a great day out for all the family. |

Nearby Kenmare is a lively town with a superb mix of pubs, restaurants and shops. Dotted along the famous Ring of Kerry you will come across little villages, quiet beaches and breathtaking scenery. To the south, a day trip to the Beara peninsula is highly recommended. Golf is available in Waterville and Kenmare. |
